Preflight

As a rule, many print stores not only offer customers the option of customizing products via web-to-print editors such as the printformer editor, but also provide a file upload for print files. The disadvantage of this option is that a very large correction process then takes place, for example because the customer supplies incorrect formats or images have incorrect color spaces. Correcting these faulty print files takes a lot of time and causes the printing process to be extremely delayed.

 To solve this problem and save you and your customers work, printformer integrates the powerful PDF preflight engine Callas PDF Toolbox. This preflights the uploaded PDF file immediately after uploading. A subsequent preview displays the checked and corrected PDF file directly in the browser. Correcting this faulty print file takes a lot of time and causes printing to be extremely delayed.
