During our journeys through the rissc universe, we experience a wide variety of adventures. We use the technologies of newly explored galaxies and the experience we gain from them to continuously modernize our printformer Suite and keep it ready for the future. Regular updates to our existing systems ensure that we’re always ready to tackle even the most unusual challenges. It was time for a “little makeover” of our previous design. Overall, we’ve significantly streamlined the somewhat outdated look of the old printformer and given it a modern, fresher appearance with the redesigned layout. In addition to these visual improvements, we’ve also migrated the printformer backend to a completely new code base to ensure the entire system remains more efficient and user-friendly in the future. Another example of this is the revamped search function, which now makes it faster and easier to find all settings and features. In addition to this more subtle improvement, there are also some more visible enhancements.

Horizontal becomes vertical—that’s how you could describe the most noticeable visual change in the printformer admin panel. In our latest version, the individual sections of the backend, which were previously arranged horizontally, have been moved to the left-hand side. This creates a clearer overview and saves space, especially with the integration of an accordion feature, which allows individual menu items to be expanded one below the other. In addition, we have restructured the menu’s content to meet current requirements, reorganized individual sections, and added new ones where needed.

For example, we have implemented a separation between templates and closed-shop products. Due to the increasingly widespread integration of our printformer into various external systems, we have separated the previously intertwined management of templates from closed-shop management. This has eliminated the previous overlap between the two areas, significantly increased flexibility, and accelerated template creation for external systems. In addition, the new direct editor access for templates makes creating design templates a breeze for you and your customers.
